Update on Quinn

Unfortunately, Quinn is not at home with us yet. She is doing good, but is having difficulties eatting the amount necessary to maintain her weight. She is a healthy girl, but until she is ingesting the ounces needed, she will have to stay in the NICU. She is taking about half of her feedings through bottle and the rest through a NG tube. Please pray with us that she will begin to eat and keep down her meals. We praise the Lord that she is healthy and has no serious medical conditions. We know that she is in the Lord's hands and He has a wonderful plan, but we are anxious to have her home with us. It gets harder every day as we visit her and not be able to bring her home, especially since she is healthy. Also. please pray for Scott, Tre, and me as our lives are a little out of routine at the moment. Tre has handled it well, but I know he is wondering what is going on. Thank you for your prayers and friendship. We will be sure to update as things progress.

Quinn Isabella Davis

We are so excited to introduce Quinn to our friends and family. She was born Saturday, January 10th at 4:33 p.m. She weighs 8 lbs 14 oz and is 21 inches long. As you can see she has a head full of black hair and looks much like her "big brother" when he was her size. Due to some complications during delivery she had to be admitted to the NICU for a few days. Scott, Tre, and I were able to come home today, and prayerfully she will be able to join us in a few days. She is doing great, but will need to have a little more care before coming home. Please pray for her and our family. We are so anxious to have her at home with us. Below are a few more pictures of her. Tre has only seen her through the window of the NICU, but he already loves his little sister, and hopefully we can post pictures of them together very soon.

Awaiting Quinn's Arrival

Wow how time flies by! It seems just like yesterday that we found out we were expecting our second, and the big day is in less than 1 week. I look back on this past year and God has blessed our family tremendously! Tre is now 1 week away from being 20 months old, and he is such a joy. Saturday we will be blessed with another addition to our family. If Quinn does not decide to come in the next couple of days, Scott and I will go in Saturday morning for an induction. We are praying that I will go into labor that morning. (Thankfully that was the case when I had Tre) What a blessing that would be. Please pray for us during this time of transition. We are very excited, but also a little anxious. It will be very interesting to see how Mr. Tre reacts to his little sister. We talk about Quinn very often, but his little mind still does not comprehend that there will be someone else getting attention in the house besides him. Please keep him in your prayers as well. We will be sure to upload information and pictures as soon as we can. Thank you for your friendships and for your prayers.
